Description:

This position working under the supervision of the Athletic Director will coordinate the girl’s athletic program, as well as serve as Head Girls Basketball Coach and other assigned duties. The teaching position will consist of Elementary PE (K-5).

Qualifications:

Girls Coordinator:

Certified Teacher, and at least 5 years coaching experience with Head Coaching Experience preferred

 Candidate must have a strong background in Strength and Conditioning

Candidate needs to be a strong communicator, organized, with other strong leadership skills

Head Girls Basketball:

Prefer Head Coaching experience or first assistant experience in a successful program

Elementary P.E:

Certified in Elementary or All-level PE with successful teaching experience in the field.

An organized and detailed teacher with a passion for elementary students

The Chester Independent School District is seeking two coaches, preferably with one to coach football and track and the other to coach basketball and baseball. Coaching two sports is a necessity, however, the combination of the two is not an absolute.

Special attention will be to those applicants who have had administrative experience, such as a principal, assistant principal, or an athletic director, especially if they are certified.

Also receiving special attention will be those candidates who are certified in Social Studies, Science, or Speech.
