I'm a graduate of East Texas Baptist University in May of 2006 with a Bachelor of Science in Education. I played High School basketball in Goodrich Texas under Coach Lester King where I led the 1997-1998 team to the state finals. In 1999 I was player of the year in the state of Texas. I went on to play college basketball at Panola Jr. College and East Texas Baptist Univeristy.

I started my first job in Leggett Tx August of 2006, where in my first year of coaching I took them deep into the playoffs losing in the third round. Thats the farest they've been since 1976-77. My second year we made the playoffs again and lost in the first round. In two years of coaching I think I've done a great job under the guidence form Coach Lester King in Goodrich.

I graduated from the University of Oklahoma in August of 2005 with a
Bachelors of Administration in Business Management.  While at
Oklahoma, I played basketball for the Sooners and was fortunate enough
to be a NCAA Final Four participant in 2002 and a NCAA Elite Eight
participant in 2003. We also won two Big 12 Tournament Championships
and enjoyed the nation's longest home winning streak. This August I
will be graduating with a Master's Degree in Kinesiology with an
emphasis in sport psychology. I am currently pursuing alternative
certification for business or P.E., but wish to pursue certification
in other fields after my first year of teaching.
My hopes are to pursue a high school coaching job preferably in the
metroplex area but I am willing to relocate wherever the job may be.
Having played and learned from many great coaches, I understand what
it takes to foster a winning program. Most importantly, I understand
that teaching and coaching is more than X's and O's. It's about
teaching young people the life skills they will need to become bright
and successful adults. If you are interested in a young, energetic,

I am a 34 year old energetic and passionate guy looking for a Boy's Basketball coaching position in the DFW area. I've played on every level, high school, college and professional. I possess the skills, knowledge and the drive to help kids understand the value of hard work and team work. I am currently coaching basketball and track in the Castleberry Independent School District in Fort Worth. I have been head 8^th grade basketball coach for 2 years in Big Spring, TX. There I also coached track and football. I was the 8^th grade B-Team head coach for football where we went undefeated in 2006. I also was an assistant coach to the varsity basketball team as well as the varsity football team. I am a graduate of Austin Peay State University which is located in Clarksville, TN. I graduated with a major in Public Management and a minor in Criminal Justice. I am living in Mesquite, TX but I am willing to relocate. I have completed my certification through Region 18 in Midland, TX. I am currently certified in General Studies 4-8 and Special Education EC-12.
