I am seeking a change of scenery by moving to Texas with the prospect of teaching and coaching high school basketball. My educational background includes my bachelors degree in business administration from William Jewell College and a masters degree in sports coaching from the United States Sports Academy. In preparing for this possibility, I have been working on my completion of my teacher certification through iTeachTexas in 8-12 Social Studies, 6-12 Business, and EC-12 Physical Education and I only need to complete one full year of teaching to complete the program. I am also capable of coaching other sports where needed including football and baseball and I am willing to relocate to anywhere in Texas where there is a good opportunity for me to teach and coach basketball. I am a recent graduate of Schreiner University with a degree in exercise science. I am also pursuing a masters degree that I will obtain online. I have collegiate coaching experience as well as collegiate playing experience. I am wanting to coach girls basketball in any area of Texas. I played basketball for 1a Granger high school, where I was all-region and a 3 time 1st team all-district player, as well as offensive MVP of the district. My junior and senior seasons I lead the team to two of the most successful seasons in Granger history. I have also played AAU basketball for the Georgetown Fury for 6 years. I have gained an enormous amount of knowledge through my playing years, and want to share my knowledge with young players of today. Very passionate about teaching youth and teens the game of basketball and will put in the work to have them excel on and off the court. Seeking the position of a basketball coach in an institute where I get an opportunity to utilize my knowledge of the basketball game and excel as a coach. To pass on that knowledge to young boys and help them bloom as basketball players on and off of the court. I was Head coach in the DBA (HS Boys League) for 3 years with a record of 30-3. Head coach for the Garland Sky Hawks for 2 years with a record of 18-0. I played basketball for most of my career. I played varsity for Lakeview Centennial HS all 4 years. Played AAU ball with Chris Bosh, LaMarkus Aldridge, and Ike Diagou, all of which are accredited NBA players. Played one year for Wisconsin University with Devin Harris (Ex- Dallas Maverick). I then left to come back home in 2006 to help run the family business. For the last 5 years I have been coaching, Bringing wins to ball clubs and help mold boys into young men.
